Biography
A lifelong Californian, Jennifer Siebel Newsom was born June 19, 1974, in San Francisco to Judy Siebel and Kenneth F. Siebel Jr. She was reared in Marin County, where she attended the Branson School. A gifted athlete, she excelled at soccer. Siebel Newsom graduated with honors from Stanford University and Stanford’s Graduate School of Business.
An actress and filmmaker, Siebel Newsom made Miss Representation, a documentary about the lasting impact negative depictions of women have on women and girls. Subsequently, Siebel Newsom founded The Representation Project, which uses "film and media as catalysts for cultural transformation" to inspire "individuals and communities to challenge limiting gender stereotypes and shift norms."
Siebel Newsom is the mother of four children: Montana, Hunter, Brooklynn, and Dutch.
